Crow’s Shadow Institute of the Arts is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization housed within the historic St. Andrews mission schoolhouse situated at the base of the Blue Mountain foothills on the Umatilla Indian Reservation.
Crow's Shadow's programs include public workshops in printmaking and traditional Native arts (weaving, bead working, regalia making, etc.), as well as national art exhibitions and printmaking residencies for primarily emerging and established Native artists. Artists in residence are guided by a Tamarind Master Printer to create limited editions of fine art, hand-pulled prints that Crow's Shadow publishes, exhibits and sells to private collectors and museums. Proceeds benefit both the artist and organization.
