Hughes Auto Group was founded my Russell Hughes in April 2004. He started out with just 4 cars. Russ' son Andrew joined the team in July of 2005. Andrew is a 4th generation auto dealer. Russ was able to purchase the buildings and the land from the owner in 2006 and incorporated at the same time. In December 2012, Russ was asked to expand his business to the Galva, IL area. On the same date that Andrew started, Hughes of Galva officially opened on July 5th, 2013.
