Arrowhead Beach is a residential community, Wildlife Preserve and Bird Sanctuary. The Arrowhead Beach Property Owners Association (APOA) is active in maintaining and enhancing the community along the beautiful Chowan River. Residents and associate members enjoy the sandy beach front, club house, recreational park and boat ramp. Organized activities such as bi-weekly Friday night bingo, Pot Luck covered dish dinners, Card games, etc. are just a few of the events well attended by residents throughout the year.
