90 YEARS OF SERVICE TO AURORA: Mayor Richard Irvin offers congratulations on the Aurora Cosmopolitan Club's 90th anniversary Saturday, May 20, at Tanner House museum in Aurora. He is with LaVonne Hawking of Aurora, Aurora Cosmos president, who accepted a proclamation marking the club's anniversary from Mayor Irvin. THE COSMOPOLITAN CLUB 90th anniversary celebration featured Frankie Bush and his alert dog, Stanley, as well as Cosmo member Kenlyn Nash-Demeter in her puppeteer costume.

Hear about the history the Tanner House shares with The Cosmopolitan Club of Aurora, learn about the efforts of the club regarding diabetes research and wellness, meet Stanley the diabetic alert dog and his family, tour the house, enjoy free refreshments and a hand puppet show. Event will be held inside in case of rain.

90TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE AURORA COSMOPOLITAN CLUB. MEET STANLEY, FRANKIE and a great group of dedicated Aurorans. Saturday, May 20 at the Tanner House. 1-4pm. Indoors if it rains. Stanley is a diabetic alert dog for 10-year old Frankie Bush of Oswego. The club currently supports diabetes research and camps for children. Free raffle and refreshments, tours of the Tanner House, and a hand puppet show.
