At School Readiness Center, understanding and meeting your child’s needs is most important to us. We surround your child with teachers who are caring and genuinely interested in each child. We assist your child in discovering a sense of self worth… knowing that each child has ideas and feelings which are important. We assist your child in learning how to listen and follow simple directions. Our program provides opportunities to do, to explore, to discover and to create. We provide a teacher directed program for total child development. ** Class Structure: The maximum class size at School Readiness Center is 17 children. Each class is instructed by a 4-year degreed teacher and a teacher assistant. ** Physical Growth: A developmentally appropriate motor skill program is provided to assist in the development of gross and fine motor skills. ** Emotional Growth: Our positive and encouraging environment fosters the development of a positive self-image in order for your child to experience good feelings about self and their surroundings. ** Social Development: We encourage your child’s development of self-control and the ability to participate with other class members in a cooperative manner. ** Intellectual Development: We offer hands-on learning experiences that are important to develop cognitive reasoning skills. ** Goals: Our goal is to provide a positive first school experience preparing your child for kindergarten.
