Otto Rosenau & Associates, Inc. (ORA) is a local, full service special inspection and geotechnical firm with an in-house materials testing laboratory in Seattle. As an independent approved agency, we provide objective and competent assessments for numerous projects in the greater Puget Sound region. We continually work with municipalities, public and private entities, developers, non-profit organizations, etc. to help assure conformance to specifications, building codes, and standards. We have a great team of experienced personnel, throughout the greater Puget Sound, available and ready to work. We are confident that we have the necessary resources and qualifications to fulfill our responsibilities in providing geotechnical, inspection, and testing services for your projects.

ORA is 100% women-owned and is certified by the State of Washington OMWBE as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE #W2F913684). In addition, we are certified by King County for their Small Contractors and Suppliers program (SCS #905). ORA qualifies as a small business as defined by the Small Business Administration. The small business size limit for NAICS 541330, Engineering Services, and for NAICS 541380, Testing Laboratories, is $14 million.

ORA has a management system in place to ensure quality in all testing and inspection activities. We are enrolled with the State of Washington as an Engineering Corporation and our services conform to IBC, Chapter 17 – Structural Tests and Special Inspections and Chapter 18 – Soils and Foundations.
