The Kootenai Environmental Alliance (KEA) located in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, was founded in 1972. It is the oldest non-profit conservation organization in Idaho. It was organized in response to extensive environmental degradation to North Idaho's forest and water resources. KEA is deeply rooted in the local community and is respected for its views on environmental issues. Our grassroots collaborative approach has brought positive change in support of the environment and quality of life.
