Heritage Community Services is dedicated to teaching the benefits of Healthy Family Formation which includes encouraging young people to develop personal Identity, set boundaries for risky behavior, be future and goal oriented, integrate own values into decision making, resist negative peer pressure, embrace abstinence from sexual activity outside of a lifelong and committed relationship such as marriage and prepare for marriage and future family.
The proven-effective Heritage Keepers Abstinence Education Program is the most respected and recognized abstinence-until-marriage program in the nation and is the only program of its kind approved as evidence-based and listed on the US Health and Human Services list for use as a Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program.
Certification and training in the Heritage Keepers program is available and/or workshops in the Parent Series entitled, Sex, Lies and Hook-Ups: A Parent's Guide to Fighting Back.
