Campbell’s was established in 1972 by Gary & Liesel Campbell. They worked to build Campbell’s into the leading dry cleaning business that it is today, continually striving to be leaders in environmental technology with a commitment to exceptional quality and service.
After graduating from Oregon State University in 1994, Gary & Liesel’s daughter, Tammy Thompson, joined the family business. Having worked mostly at the front counter throughout high school and college, Tammy now had the opportunity to expand her skills in other areas of the family business. She continued her education by attending the Dry Cleaning and Laundry Institute’s (DLI) Advanced Dry Cleaning School, DLI’s Wetcleaning School, Aqua Clean’s Wet Cleaning Training in New York, and Kirk’s Suede-Life Leather Cleaning School in Chicago. Tammy is currently Vice President of Campbell’s Cleaners, overseeing the daily operations of their three dry cleaning locations, two self-service laundromats and an upscale tanning salon, Sunsations Tanning.
