Leadership Tulsa is an independent, 501(c)3, nonprofit organization with a 40-year history of providing community leadership development programs. Our flagship program annually involves 90 adults representing a diverse cross-section of the community who learn about the infrastructure, needs and resources of Tulsa and how to get involved to affect positive change. More than 2,000 people have gone through our adult program since its inception in 1973. The Executive Leadership Series introduces CEOs and executive managers to our civic, corporate and social sector leaders while at the same time, giving participants a sense of Tulsa’s historical roots and insight into the city’s future direction. In 2009, we launched a new program called “New Voices”. A joint venture with the Tulsa Area United Way, this new board internship program focuses on increasing the diversity on Tulsa United Way Agency boards. All of our programs center around diversity and bringing people of all ethnic, social and professional backgrounds together to affect positive change in our community.
