Laura worked for CPA firms in Little Rock, Memphis and Atlanta before starting her own practice in McDonough in 1990. She served as President of the Rotary Club of Henry County for the 1998-1999 year and continues to serve as Treasurer. She serves on the board of A Friend's House and is on the Advisory Board for Heritage Bank. She served on the Historical Preservation Commission for McDonough, the Cultural Arts Development Committee at the Chamber of Commerce, Promotions Committee for Main Street McDonough, was a member of the Leadership Henry Class of 2006 and was a charter member of McDonough Arts and served as Treasurer. She was honored in 2010 with the Legacy of leadership Award by Senator Gail Buckner, GA General Assembly. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Georgia Society of CPAs.
