Saturday September 16 join us at Enterprise, KS for their fall festival. ASVRR will be providing short train rides and trolley rides on the rail from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. $5 each ages 5yrs and up. Also take tours of the Hoffman Grist Mill conducted by Joe Minick, We will still run the full trips from Abilene at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Come join in the 150th Chisholm Trail celebration Sept. 1 & 2. Afternoon riders on Saturday & Sunday may experience train robbers.

September 2 & 3 Abilene will be celebrating the 150th of the Chisholm Trail. Come help us celebrate, be aware there will be no parking on the ASVRR or Old Abilene grounds as that is where all the activities are taking place. Go to www.chisholmtrt.com for complete list of events. Train tickets are an additional cost. You can ride the train and not take part in the events or you can purchase tickets for all events too.

On Wednesday a.m. July 26 this is what the train crew found across the track when they headed for Enterprise. This was east of the Smoky Hill river bridge and trestle. Crew had the track opened by the time the afternoon train got there.
