USA Karate Academy provides excellent instruction in traditional karate-do, self defense, and physical fitness that is accessible to men, women, and children of all ages and skill levels.
The dojo was founded in 1994 by Chief Instructor and 7th Degree Black Belt Shihan Joni Wilson Sharrah.
Joni Sharrah has earned many awards as an athlete of sport karate. Some of the highlights inlude: Induction in 2000 to the Eastern USA International Black Belt Hall of Fame for International Achievement, 3 time AAU Grand National Kumite Champion,Selected as "Outstanding Overall Competitor" by Soke Kenzo Mabuni at the 2003 4th Seito Shito-Ryu Karate-Do Taikai.

The dojo's owners, Joni and Alan Sharrah are both licensed by the International Budo Martial Arts Assocation
