The Energy Cooperative has created this page so you can learn more about what’s happening at the Cooperative and we can respond to questions, comments, praise, and even criticism.
We ask that you keep your comments and posts respectful to community members and relevant to The Energy Cooperative and its programs, news, initiatives, or the utility industry.
The Energy Cooperative reserves the right to remove postings that are:
-libelous, profane, defamatory, hateful, harassing, threatening, or obscene;
-personal attacks against our employees;
-contain links or advertisements;
-violate copyright or intellectual property rights;
-contain spam or are intended to cause technical disruptions to this page;
-off-topic; or
-violate Facebook’s terms of service or any laws or regulations.
This Facebook page is monitored during normal business hours from 8 to 5 , Monday through Friday.
This Facebook page is also monitored during non-business hours and holidays from 5:00 to 8:00 We will do our best to respond to inquiries in a timely fashion but we cannot guarantee a response until the next business day. Exceptions will only be made during outages, major emergencies, or major storms.
This Facebook page is intended to provide news and helpful information about the Cooperative. It is not a member service page however, requests will be answered whenever possible.
This Facebook page is not to be used to report electric, natural gas, or propane outages or emergencies.
All electric outages or emergencies should be reported to our automated outage reporting service by calling 1-888-535-5732.
All natural gas and propane outages or emergencies should be reported by calling 1-800-255-6815. If you suspect a gas leak, please walk away from the area of the leak before placing your call.
The Energy Cooperative will not post form letters with the same content from multiple users. Relevant comments or likes on previous published posts are always welcome. We reserve the right to delete excessive wall postings to improve the overall visitor experience.
Anyone repeatedly posting material that violates these guidelines will be banned from participating in this Facebook page.
