The Delaware County Historical Society maintains a museum house and research library. We provide educational programs for schools, civic groups, and the Delaware Community. The Nash house was built in 1878 for the Slattery family. The Nash house was presented to the DCHS in 1954 by Pauline Nash. Her family had lived in the house since 1885. The Historical Society was given the Forrest Meeker Homestead at 2690 Stratford Rd at US picturesque 6-acre hillside homestead includes the historic federal style house and large stone-end barn. The DCHS plans to use the historic home as a museum and is operating the Barn at Stratford as an event venue. For more info, go to
