Bedford Domestic Violence Services is so proud of all the hard work provided to this program by Julie Howell. Julie began asking to volunteer at BDVS with her Girl Scout troop several years ago. She wanted to help our clients by providing several projects that would make their experience at BDVS more enjoyable. She was instrumental in developing and installing the new steps for the playground, building and painting two picnic tables, and placed several bird feeders on our property. For her final project, she put together a lovely binder with information about local birds, butterflies, weeds, crafts and games for our clients and their children. This information will help everyone at BDVS to be better informed about our surroundings and adds lots of fun and learning experinces. Thanks again to Julie for all of your help as a trusted volunteer.
