Long Island Head Start is a federally funded program regulated by the Department of Health and Human Services offering free childcare education for families with children ages 3-5. LIHS also offers Early Head Start services for infants, toddlers, and expectant mothers. Every year we provide critical services to over 2,000 children in over twenty NYS licensed Daycare Centers throughout Suffolk County.
