Wolverine offers a continuum of care for males and females, ranging from day treatment, foster care and specialized independent living to structured residential treatment, both non-secure and secure. Specialized treatment services include chemical dependency, sexual offender, co-occurring disorders, abuse/neglect, mental health, cognitively impaired offender, and outdoor therapeutic programming. Lengths of stay vary based on the program specialization. The agency also works directly with the Eastside of Detroit community through our John S. Vitale Community Center & Soup Kitchen. The JVCC provides an after school program for nearly 30 children daily, as well as providing meals and food baskets for the needy. Annually, Wolverine serves nearly 1,700 youth from the ages of birth to 21.
