Parents of children with special needs often find it difficult learning precisely what their child’s particular needs are, what services can help then compensate for any deficits, and which professionals can best deliver the appropriate therapy. What’s more, today many families are denied necessary services, receive insufficient therapy, or find their child is not making gains in therapy they are anxious to see. Skilled therapy services the target core deficits can change a child’s developmental trajectory and dramatically raise their quality of life. Improvements in the child’s behavior competence and self-esteem should be observed by a parent within 6-8 therapy sessions. WTS has expanded and moved to a new therapy gym with therapist-led social skill play groups, a pirate ship, climbing wall, toddler zone, school age play space, sensory exploration room, and speech clinic.
