We've got a few museum pieces in the shop today. First a Compaq running Windows 98, then a PowerMac that was released in 1995. Of course, you should not keep valuable files on such an old computer, or connect it to the Internet, but if you have one you need to recover data from, or even make boot and run, we're your guys! We fixed both of these!

All Systems Repair will be closed Monday, July 3, and Tuesday, July 4 for Independence Day. We will return at 8:30 AM on Wednesday, July 5. Enjoy the holiday!

Another ransomware virus, "NotPetya", is spreading this morning. If your PC suddenly reboots and shows this screen, immediately hold the power button until it shuts off and call ASR right away at 802-654-9209. Stay safe out there, we've got your back!!

We will be having a memorial service this Friday for Dennis. We have rented the pavilion at Mt. Philo starting at 6 p.m. friday evening. We hope to see you there!

BREAKING NEWS FRIDAY- "WANNACRY" RANSOMWARE VIRUS SPREADING LIKE WILDFIRE. "WannaCry' has reached epidemic levels today with 75,000 new cases since 8AM. This is the kind of major threat we see only once every few years. This virus will scramble all your files with strong encryption! Users should ensure Windows systems are fully updated and running a good antivirus and also keep a backup on an external drive not plugged into the PC. Beware suspicious email attachments and call ASR with any concerns.
