Art started Excelsior Auto Clinic and has been servicing the Novato area since 1974. He and his team have developed an incredibly loyal following with their customers and continue to maintain those relationships with great service and quality repairs. Our ASE Certified technical staff with combined experience of over 145 years, gives us everything you need for your vehicle's next service or repair.

We were awarded the first Golden Acorn Award in 1994 from the Environmental Forum of Marin for extraordinary contribution by the individual(s) benefitting both the environment and the future generations of Marin citizens.

We are a full service auto reapir shop and are capable of working on European, Domestic and Import vehicles, both gasoline & diesel. We are a AAA approved and ASE certified and can perform the following services: Alignments, Tire Replacement & Balance, Oil Changes, A/C Service & Repair, Engine Service & Repair, Electrical Service & Repair, Brake Service & Repair, Check Engine Light Diagnostics, Batteries, Tune Ups, Scheduled Maintenance, Radiators, Clutch Repair, Alternators, Starters, Struts, Shocks and more.

Our shop is equipped with 16 Vehicle Lifts, Flywheel Machines, Brake Machines, 40 Ton Press, Steam Cleaning Station, Wheel Alignment Machine, Tire Mounting Machine, Balancing Machine and even Air Conditioning! We also have diagnostic software for interfacing the onboard computer systems found in most modern vehicles, which include the following scanners: Snap-On MODIS, VAG-COM Volkswagen Software, Auto-Diagnosis, Auto Land Science-Tech iScan II, and Autologic BMW Software.
