God is establishing and building up His people at Second Baptist Church through His son Jesus Christ, our Lord, for a great work for His glory and honor. God has called us as one body to be united on one accord for the advancement of the kingdom of Jesus Christ. To that end, we must be united concerning our vision, purpose, goals and methodology.
Our Vision:
1. That each member engage in sincere worship as an expression of praise to God and as evidence of the love and lordship of Jesus in the conduct of his/her daily life.
2. That we minister to the whole person by meeting the spiritual, emotional and temporal needs of people.
3. That we lead (at least) 2 million souls to a profession of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
