I provide assistance to individuals with Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI, DIB, Title II benefits) and/or Supplemental Security Income Payment (SSI, Title XVI benefits) disability claims. The majority of my clients are located in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey, but I am permitted to assist individuals anywhere in the country.

We help individuals who:
• Have not yet applied for benefits;
• Have applied for benefits, but need help with their application, forms, or just feel uncomfortable continuing without assistance;
• Have been denied benefits;
• Have been scheduled for an Administrative Law Judge Hearing;
• Have been denied by an Administrative Law Judge; and/or
• Have questions about the Social Security Disability Process.

We offer free consultations to determine if we can assist you. Normally if we believe that we can help, we will represent you on a contingency fee basis. This means that we only receive a fee if you are eventually approved for disability benefits.

Generally in order for an individual to be approved for disability benefits by the Social Security Administration:
• They must currently not be working (or if they are working, they must have less than $1040 per month in earnings);
• They must have a physical or mental condition (or a combination of physical and mental conditions) that interferes with their ability to perform work;
• The medical condition(s) must be severe enough that it has prevented the individual from performing full-time work for at least 12 months, or it is believed the condition(s) will prevent the individual from performing work for at least 12 months in the future;
• There must be ongoing medical treatment for the medical condition(s), and the individual must be compliant with their doctors orders; and
• The individual’s treating physician or psychiatrist must be willing to provide supportive medical opinions on the individual’s behalf.

The rules are slightly easier for individuals that are age 50 and older. It is best to consult with us if you have questions on whether you meet the qualifications for disability benefits. The disability process can take anywhere from a few months to multiple years to resolve. We have found that it is most helpful if an individual is represented as early as possible in the process.
