Martin Auction is a family-owned business, founded in Clinton, Illinois in 1947 by Warren Martin, an elected member of the Illinois State Auctioneer Association Hall of Fame. Warren was joined in 1966 by son Larry Martin, a graduate of Illinois State University. In 1973, Stan Irvin, who attended Southern Illinois University, came aboard. Rob Nord joined the team in 1990. In June 2008, the fourth generation, Evelyn Nord, graduated from Missouri Auction School and in June 2011 Echo Nord did as well. We are proud and excited to offer our customers the experience and knowledge that comes from four generations in the auction industry.

In 2007, Larry decided to sell the original facility just south of Clinton, so his daughter and son-in-law, Lucy & Rob Nord built the new Martin Auction Facility on Rt. 51 South, Clinton, Illinois.
