Hidden Acres Kennel

We are a family owned and operated boarding kennel. The kennel located on 11 acres in Tolland, CT. Our House is also located on the property. The kennel has heating, air conditioning along with ceiling fans to keep the air circulating. There are 35 indoor runs ( 4x10 and 6 x 10 ), with outside areas were the dogs are taken out 3 times a day. Dogs are put out separately from one another. Only dogs from the same family are put out together unless you request playtime (extra charge). When playtime is given, your dog can be put out with other dogs (small groups) in our large indoor and outdoor area. If your dog is not accepting of other dogs we will take them out into the play area by themselves and we will spend time with them. You can bring your own food and bedding or use ours there is no extra charge. We have a refrigerator, freezer and Microwave if there are special dietary needs your dog may have. We use stainless steel dishes that get washed after every meal so please do not bring your own dishes unless medically necessary. Dogs are also given treats each time they are put back into their runs When we assign runs to your dog we will take into account size of your dog and if your dog is shy. Small dogs and the very shy will be placed closer to the outside doors so they do not have to go by the bigger dogs in order to go outside. We also have an area for cats. That is located in another room completely separate from the dogs so your cat will remain safe. The same goes for the cats as the dogs as far as bedding and food Our "employee's" consit of the owners Carol and Del and their daughter Pennie. ----------------------------------------------------------------We also offer obedience classes on Tuesday evenings and during spring & summer months outdoor agility classes on Friday evenings.
