In 1950 Bernard “Curly” DeVries founded Wisco in a single storefront on Western Avenue in Chicago. His focus on taking care of his employees, and serving the customer at an unprecedented level resulted in rapid growth and prosperity for the company.
Meanwhile, Curly’s son Craig, took the reins in 1980 and has been at the helm ever since. He has continued the employee focused culture with the belief that the best way to ensure your customer is happy, is to make sure your employees are first.
In 2008, Wisco became a 3rd generation family business as Craig’s son Brandt came aboard. Currently, he works alongside Craig to bring new ideas and innovations to Wisco to help grow the business and stay competitive in the constantly evolving market.
