The Cumberland Presbyterian Church is a reformed tradition church established in 1810 in Dickson County, Tennessee. We believe in the Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and in the Holy Scripture as a revelation of God.
To become a member of the church, the following affirmations must be made:
That the Bible is the inspired Word of God, the source of authority for faith and practice. That Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Savior and Lord of one' s life. That a faithful participation in the activities and worship of the church is a duty of every Christian. That one should love and live at peace with their brethren in the church. That every Christian should be a good steward of life, talents, time, and resources.
