As one of the oldest personal injury firms in central Ohio, the personal injury attorneys at The Donahey Law Firm have been fighting for equal justice for injured people for over four decades. When our founding partner Dick Donahey created The Donahey Law Firm, few law firms specialized exclusively in the rights and claims for injured individuals.

Many firms focused on corporate law, but few were willing to take the chance that The Donahey Law Firm did: to work for their clients on a contingency-only basis, in order to represent injured individuals who were often unable to pay large, up-front legal fees.

More than forty years later, we still operate on a "contingent fee" basis, which means that our lawyers get paid only when, and if, we recover money damages. A contingent fee allows injured persons and families with little or no financial resources to obtain experienced and effective legal counsel. The attorney's fee is simply a percentage of the award in the case. If there is no recovery, there is not a fee.
