Orchids for the People specializes in cool and intermediate temperature orchids, interior plantscaping for local businesses and homes, and orchid rentals for home and one-time events such as weddings and dinner parties. We carry unique species plants as well as exotic hybrids.
Once a plaything of the rich, orchids can now be enjoyed by anyone who loves plants. As orchid growers, we feel it is our responsibility to demystify this very large and diverse group of plants. Most people are under the impression that orchids are difficult to grow. From the beginning, we have tried to make it easier for our customers to be successful growing and flowering their orchids. Every plant comes with some tips, interesting information, and our email address and telephone number for after sale support! I believe the only way to have return clientele is if they are happy with their initial purchase. We offer free repotting for all plants we sell (and repotting services for a small fee for those plants not from Orchids for the People).
We carry a full line of pottery suitable for orchids as well as tools, fertilizers, potting mixes, and other orchid related products. We offer services such as repotting, interior plantscaping and event sales and rentals. In addition we have a schedule of events and seminars to make your orchid growing experience easier and more enjoyable.
