Sunday worship at Bon Air United Methodist Church (BAUMC) includes a more casual service at 8:45am in the Gym and a traditional service at 10:45am in the Sanctuary. On the first Sunday of every month we worship all together at 10:45am. There is Sunday school for all ages from 9:45-10:30am.
We strive to meet everyone where they are and offer every opportunity for them to move forward in their Christian spiritual journey. We have strong Children, youth, and Adult ministries and Sunday School and offer various long-term and short-term studies throughout the year.
BAUMC has opportunities for all age groups for church, local, national, and international mission work. We are fortunate to have facilities which allow for unique outreach opportunities. Some of these outreach opportunities include CARITAS and Bon View preschool which is recognized as one of the best local preschools, Scouting, Prayer Shawl Ministry, and much more!
Our church believes strongly in the involvement and participation of the laity in decision-making. We feel that having pastors who are called to ministry and are comfortable expressing their love of God is most important. BAUMC has proven to have "fertile soil," with numerous candidates for pastoral ministry coming from our congregation.
