Holdeman Mennonite Church has the distinction of being the first congregation of Christians in the Wakarusa community. The church was named after the original founders who were members of the Holdeman family.
We come from many walks of life. We are teachers, nurses, factory workers, business owners, parents, students, farmers, homemakers, friends, neighbors, managers, accountants, retirees, clerical workers, contractors and service professionals. Although many of us live in around the Wakarusa area, some of us drive from Goshen, Nappanee, Elkhart, St. Joseph County and beyond.
