Someone posted on Facebook that I had surgery; now I am getting text asking how I am. First, yes I did have surgery, I had a hernia for about two years that finally had gotten painful enough to do something about it. I also had some scar tissue/mesh taken care of since I was being put to sleep. I figure just take care of both at the same time. The crazy thing is I had to have a EKG for pre-op that led to me being sent to a cardiologist. At the cardiologist, I was told that my two EKG at this point were abnormal. I ask what was meant by abnormal? I was told the EKG showed I had a previous heart attack. My words to that was "the devil is a lie" and then I ask if I had a heart attack wouldn't I know it? The dr told me that you can have what is called a silent heart attack and more women than men.He said that women respond to pain different that men. So the doctor then told me I needed to have a nuclear stress test and an echocardiogram. While the tech is doing the echo, I told her if she see a man walking around inside my heart "that would be Jesus because my heart belongs to him", her reply was "that be good". I then go to the next room where I am hook up for the nuclear stress test, the IV is put in and the woman ask me "Have you ever been told you have a bundle branch block? " I told her no and ask what is that from, her reply was from a previous heart attack. I then said, "all of you keep trying to tell me I have had a previous heart attack, BUT I have not, the devil is a lie and my heart belongs to Jesus." She told me when I walk on the treadmill if I have a bundle branch block it will show during the treadmill test. I said "It's not going to show because I don't have it" IT DID NOT SHOW!! I called the cardiologist doctor today to get my results because I had not gotten them yet.....The report is official, MY HEART IS GOOD, NO BLOCKAGE AT ALL!!! GOD IS SO GOOD. One of the things I did this entire time was to praise the Lord right in the middle of all this. Some of you would ask, why did you have to have hernia surgery, couldn't God have healed that? Yes he could and he did, he just chose to heal it by way of surgery. I didn't put all of this on Facebook for a number of reason that are personal to me. Today I decide to let folks know since I am getting text from people saying I didn't know. I am now two weeks out today from surgery. I am doing well, off of any pain medicines for four days now. I am moving around quite well at times and at other times look like I am looking for something on the floor all bent over. I want to thank Pastor LaTonia Lee and Pastor Vin Lucian for covering for me the past two Sundays. I want to thank God again for my awesome leadership at A Call to Salvation, you all are the BEST!! I thank my husband and my daughter who have taken care of me. I thank, Tammy & Chris, Karen Shaw, Crystal & Josh. Carol & Everett for the food they brought. I still have about four weeks of recovery time left and I plan on taking it easy. I haven't always done that in the past but I am this time. My plan is to be in the pulpit this Sunday even if I have to sit to share the Word. I am walking in health and prospering even as my soul is prospering. I allow the Lord to touch my heart and soul even in all the wounded places to bring healing that causes me to walk in health in the natural. Praise the Lord with me for HIS healing, love, and mercy!
