It is our desire to bring Glory to God in all that we do at First American Baptist Church. We seek to lead people to a personal relationship and saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We do this through a variety of small group and worship opportunities. Our worship is a blended contemporary service, that combines traditional hymns with praise choruses, prayer and dynamic preaching based on the Word of God.
During the Sunday School hour, classes are offered for all ages, with a variety of options for the adult disciple. Other small groups and Bible Studies also meet at various times during the week for Christian growth, fellowship, prayer and service.
We also share our building with the American Baptist Filipino Ministry under the leadership of Rev. Hilarion Leysa.
We believe that the love of God must be shown in word and in deed. We are strong supporters of the American Baptist Mission in Alaska and around the world.
