Meet Lorraine Sandow. Mrs. Sandow has been a Beltone patient since 2012 when she was 95 years young. Next week on March 21st, Mrs. Sandow will turn 100 years old. Mrs. Sandow still works 10 hours a week as a Secretary for St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Angola, NY (just outside of Buffalo). Her responsibilities include operating a computer to make the bulletin and newsletter, answering phone calls and as she puts it "Just plain problem solving". Mrs. Sandow has needed a new hearing aid for 2 years after falling, and destroying her old hearing aid. After finding out her insurance had partial coverage for hearing aids, she decided to invest at age 100 in better hearing for both ears. Mrs. Sandow gets around without a cane, lives alone and still drives round trip 22 miles to her local Beltone. She is an extraordinary woman and I feel blessed to fit her with a new set of hearing aids for her 100th Birthday. I call Lorraine an eternal optimist. Thank you to Hearing Care Practitioner, Greg Watson, for taking great care of Mrs. Sandow!

Today, we are celebrating our anniversary and the 77 years we’ve spent building on a legacy of state-of-the-art hearing solutions. While our technology continues to change, our mission remains the same: To help the world hear better.
