This personal, analytical approach assures consideration of both aesthetic and economic concerns in designing for the clients’ needs.

Founded in 1953, the firm has completed over 950 projects. Since 1994, SCArchitect, Inc., under the management of
Stephen J. Corbin, NCARB, AIA, LEED®-AP has continued to serve the communities of Southern California and the Central Coast and has successfully completed over 100 educational facility projects. Those projects include high schools, junior high schools, elementary schools, modernizations of K thru 12th grade school, critical hardships and deferred maintenance projects.

SCArchitect, Inc. maintains a complement of dedicated professional personnel that are well trained in all phases of architecture to meet the demands of institutional and private projects. Decades of experience have taught them much about construction methods, life cycle costing and design.

The firm remains in contact with past clients to monitor the performance of their projects with regards to both design considerations and building material performance. The firm continues to explore appropriate new building designs, material uses and equipment selections, as part of its ongoing value engineering concerns.
