The Art Post Gallery is located in Willow Festival, the new shopping center at the NW corner of Willow Road and Waukegan Road in Northbrook, Illinois. It is very near Whole Foods and REI and is located between The Daily Method and Rōti restaurant. It is a 10 minute drive west of Winnetka and a 25 minute drive north of Chicago on the Edens 94, West on Willow Road.
This lovely gallery was established in 1972 and was purchased by owner Christina Bates in 1980. The gallery has the largest inventory of original art on the north shore of Chicago and is especially known for oil paintings, watercolors, etchings and vintage art by well known artists from the United States, Europe, South America and Asia. Antique maps are also available. They encourage designers and clients to take any art home on approval. And…many of their artists can be commissioned to create similar subject matter with the perfect size for your home or office.
Framing is an art…a huge part of the success of a piece of art. Fine framing is done on the premises by a well-trained, creative staff with wonderful ideas and a complete knowledge of art preservation. In addition, they make exquisite custom mirrors of any size and offer a full line of picture lights. They are also capable of performing a wide range of art restoration and can arrange for the installation of art.
