The Annapolis Trust was founded in 2000 by youth development leader, Reginald Broddie, to assist local in-need youth in creating a career vision for themselves and support to accomplish it. It has provided financial support and resources for low-income students to attend colleges, universities or technical schools and build a better life for themselves and future generations. Over the last 15 years, the Annapolis Trust has provided over 40 scholarships for students to attend college and summer camp at Gordonstoun in Scotland.
The Annapolis Trust is continuing to expand to include not only financial help but also a complete framework for students that will let them envision a clear path to a higher education. Our mentoring program provides a one-to-one mentor for every student and a career network to help them prepare when they graduate. Our long term strategy includes college preparatory workshops and summer camps, career exploration and a job-recruiting network. This vision will evolve and grow because of individual donors, community groups, business, education and funding partners like you.
