Hamilton Vacuum

It all began twenty-two years ago, when we opened a commercial cleaning business. Its office was located on the second floor of 5500 Harford Road, above what used to be the old Arcade Pharmacy. In 1992, we opened a retail location just half a block down the street at 5424 Harford Road. We converted all of our efforts into the sale and repair of vacuums and supplies.

Five years later, we outgrew our 1500 sq. ft. store and returned to 5500 Harford Road. The Arcade Pharmacy had closed, and this time we were able to open our retail store on the ground floor in its place. At this time, our customers began to request that we offer cleaning supplies and equipment, which was a natural fit with our vacuum sales and repairs.

In response to our customers' needs, we expanded the store location to 4500 sq. ft. in February 2000. We've since added warehouse space and offer free delivery of our commercial janitorial supplies in our very own HamVac delivery van.

And in 2009, we moved across the street to 5421 Harford Road (the old Cooper's Camera Mart building) with an upgraded showroom and even more space. The Hamilton neighborhood has always been able to meet our needs for expansion, and we'll never leave.

Over the past twenty-two years and even today, many of our customers have seen our three children; our siblings; and our parents pitching in to help our shop grow.

We are able to accomodate all of our customers, from homeowners to our largest corporate accounts. No matter how big or small, everyone receives the same family style of customer service.
