P – Purpose
Peak has a definite purpose and we are driven by it. We are and will remain the top leaders in mental health care. We will provide all our services with excellence, poise, and a bright smile. We are united in the fact that reaching the ‘peak’, or the pinnacle as a team is essential and vital to that cause. I believe that we should look for the same quality in the applicants we screen and interview. Are they purpose driven? Do they realize the importance of having a purpose and how one team member can impact that purpose? Are they willing to hike to the top of the peak with us? Above all, do they know Peak’s purpose and how they intend to make the climb more enjoyable and productive as possible?
E – Empathy
As a team, Peak embraces each client and fellow colleague with a heart full of empathy. Climbing the peak together without commitment and passion for each other, leaves a trail of disheartened and underappreciated employees which, in turn, leads to an avalanche of inactivity and lack of motivation. From celebrating personal and corporate successes to working our way around detours and road blocks, we empathize and truly care about the Peak Family. Adding another member to the team should strengthen our emotional well-being as a whole and make our bond that much stronger. Is the potential candidate relatable and personable? Do they have a heartbeat for the nonprofit community and outreach? Why are they drawn to Peak? How do they define empathy and why is it a necessary ingredient in reaching the ‘peak’ and being the BEST?
A – Aspire
“Aim for the moon and if you fall short, at least you’ll land among the stars”. Peak Wellness Center and all of our four counties aspire to be the absolute best, which, of course, makes us the best! We believe that our clients are getting better care because they are coming to us…and we deliver that better care. As we aspire daily to reach the top of the peak in our reactions with clients, the public eye, and ourselves, we know that we are one step closer to fulfilling our mission of the being THE Peak Wellness Center. We believe in us. Does the candidate believe in Peak? Why do they aspire to represent peak as part of the team? Are they committed to climb? How will they inspire others to follow?
K – Knowledge
Learn today and every day. Share what you learn. Stay current in your field and in your professional growth. Listen to those around you. Be respectful of another team member’s opinion. Anticipate what is next. Use your knowledge to focus on steering the team towards the peak, by propelling us forward with positive, beneficial change. What is the most recent thing they have learned? How would their current education and experience aid Peak strategically to scale the peak easier? Why Peak?
