The Center on Colfax (The Center) is a nonprofit community center dedicated to providing support and advocacy for Colorado’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer community. We serve as a catalyst for community organizing, support services, social activities, and cultural events.
Denver PrideFest draws more than 365,000 people; Rainbow Alley, our youth drop-in center sees more than 750 visits per month. SAGE and Family Programs connect the community with each other and with our events; our Legal & Advocacy assists more than 350 people a year through our legal help line.
We partner with more than 50 statewide organizations and annually serve nearly 34,000 individuals who visit our safe and welcoming space.
In addition to those programs, The Center maintains a community space with meeting facilities, a lending library and the David Bohnett Cyber Center, a community-access computer lab.
