Patient Transport Systems is a private organization that fully supports our localities with ALS and BLS transfers, local and long distance; supporting the community when air transport is unavailable, unnecessary or not preferred. We also support Halifax County with 911 mutual aid, assist Halifax Regional Hospital and provide wheelchair/ambulatory transports. We are fully equiped and staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with additional pager rotations to cover Advanced Life Support critical transports and other basic services.
