Carlos A. León is a native Houstonian. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Houston in Political Science in 1991. During this time, he was a three-year letterman on the University's nationally ranked football team. Go Coogs!

Ryan N. Berchelmann waswas born and raised in Houston, Texas and spent many summers abroad in Ecuador where he learned to speak fluent Spanish. Ryan graduated from Cy-Fair High School in 1996, and later went to Sam Houston State University where he earned undergraduate degrees in International Business and Economics in 2001. He went straight to grad school and completed his MBA in 2003.
