We love our Music & Memory Program! Another example of how it truly can change a person's mood! So great!
This Mount Vernon Adult Day Health Care (ADHC) Center participant is a prime example of why ADHC has Music & Memory. He is really enjoying his favorite music on his iPod and is engaged in activity instead of being anxious. Most participants find the music calming and engaging.

This is open to anyone - we simply provide extra information on Dementia, as well as how to cope with the disease process.
There is no cost for this meeting, and all are welcome to attend. The meetings will be held monthly (third Monday of each month) in the Board room of Aase Haugen Senior Services, 4 Ohio St., Decorah. This group is free and open for attendance by family members of Aase Haugen residents, community members caring for a loved one with dementia, or anyone who may need education, support, encouragement, or useful, practical tips on care approaches for those with Dementia. Hosted in partnership with Northeast Iowa Agency on Aging.
