The Oregon Symphony is Portland’s largest performing arts organization and the oldest American orchestra west of the Mississippi. Led by Music Director Carlos Kalmar, it performs with many of the world’s top musicians and offers the best of orchestral music – classical to pops to cutting-edge contemporary – to growing audiences in Portland and across Oregon.

From September through May, the orchestra performs about 80 concerts each season, mostly at downtown Portland’s historic Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, drawing an enthusiastic audience of more than 225,000 people annually.
