On Saturday, July 29, join AHRA's Volunteer Naturalist Bob Hickey and GOCO Naturalist Kerry Dietterich on a high-country hike full of wonder. The trail climbs through forested terrain and several clearings with some stunning view points to the north and east across the Upper Arkansas Valley. After a number of switchbacks and easy creek crossings, the trail arrives at a large grassy mesa at treeline. The trail proceeds across the treeline tundra to the pass and views of Mt. Massive and Native Lake at the pass. After lunch at the pass, we will return via the same trail. Hikers can call AHRA at 719-539-7289 to register or ask for Kerry for more information.

On Saturday, July 15, Bob Hickey, AHRA's volunteer naturalist, geologist and hike leader is going to lead a fascinating hike through groves of the oldest trees in Colorado, the Limber Pines. Call AHRA at 719-539-7289 for more info or to reserve a spot.
