Tasting: we offer tastings during our normal business hours for a $3 tasting fee. We recommend arriving no later than 15 minutes prior to closing time for an enjoyable tasting experience. Please remember at closing time Galen Glen Winery reverts back to being our home. If you are visiting with a group of 7 or more people or in a commercial vehicle, we do require a reservation. Reservations may be made by calling the winery at 570-386-3682 during normal business hours. We only accept commercial vehicle (vans & limos) groups from 10am-12 noon on Saturdays and 11am-1pm on Sundays and a reservation is required. We staff our tasting room to ensure that all of our guests have an enjoyable experience. Groups without reservations may be denied service because we are understaffed or our facility is already full. Please note that on weekends we do fill our reservation openings quickly, so please allow ample time to ensure you receive a reservation.
Tours: we offer walking tours periodically throughout the spring, summer and fall. Please watch for our posts on details and dates.
Wine & Dining: you are always welcome to pack snacks or purchase some of our locally made cheeses to enjoy with your wine. Periodically, we host outside food vendors and food trucks. In the spring, summer and fall we have outdoor seating. We have seating in our heated pavilion during the winter months. All wine to be consumed on our premises is sold "by the glass" only. Last pour is 30 minutes before closing.
Please note PA state law states only alcohol purchased on site may be consumed on site. No outside alcohol is permitted on our premises, this is strictly enforced.
