When I started my business I had no idea if it would succeed. I had one golden rule that I followed and truly believe it contributed to my success. Learn from your mistakes and take steps so you don't make the same ones again.
I was also willing to take advice and suggestions that could improve my business. Thinking you know everything and have nothing to learn is a recipe for disaster

In many cases the high overhead in the tree industry makes it hard to quote smaller tree jobs and have them to be profitable. I've kept my overhead low in order to accommodate those smaller jobs alongside bigger jobs as well
