Henry often wonders how he has the time to manufacture Ice Cream. He is a 20 year member of the Texas Restaurant Association; and is currently on the Greater Dallas Restaurant Association's Board of Directors. Henry shares the concerns of restaurants.
Henry is Past-Chairman of the Plano Chamber of Commerce.

Nationally

Henry J. Gentry, Jr. is Past-President of the National Ice Cream and Retailers Association in 2000-2001. Henry's Homemade Ice Cream is a member of the Texas Restaurant Association and shares their concerns. Henry's Homemade Ice Cream won the National Award in 2005; The Mock Forrest Award for dedication and leadership in the Ice Cream Industry.
