Shari's restaurants began in Hermiston, Oregon, in 1978.

Positive public reaction to Shari's 24-hour family dining concept led to the establishment of a second restaurant in Sherwood, Oregon, within one year.

Shari’s is now the largest full-service restaurant chain based in the Pacific Northwest.

Operated by Shari’s Management Corporation of Beaverton, Oregon, Shari’s Restaurants provide customers high quality, reasonably-priced meals 24-hours a day in a comfortable surrounding.

Shari’s menu features a full selection of breakfasts, salads, gourmet sandwiches, hamburgers, dinner entrees, desserts and pies.

Shari’s employs nearly 4,500 employees at 92 locations throughout Oregon, Washington, California, Wyoming, Idaho, and Nebraska.

The original owners, Ron and Sharon Bergquist, operated the company for seven years. Sharon went by the name "Shari," which explains how the restaurant got its name.
