PB Cosmetology Education Centre was founded in 1960 by the husband and wife team of Peg and Bob (PB) Hogan. It flourished as a small school called PB Method of Hair Design, teaching cosmetology and nails for over 25 years. Today, the school is in its third generation under the direction of Peg and Bob’s granddaughter, Colleen Hogan.
In 1994, the school joined the Pivot Point Network. Pivot Point is known internationally as the finest in quality cosmetology training. Nicknamed the “Harvard” of beauty schools, Pivot Point boasts a membership of over 2,000 schools throughout the world and has produced thousands of successful cosmetologists, nail technicians and aestheticians. By adapting the principles of the Bauhaus philosophy of art, Pivot Point allows each student to approach their life’s work as an artist.
